Since our founding in October 1989, Mercavícola has built a family tradition spanning decades in the sale of live hens. From the very beginning, we have stood out for our passion for innovation, becoming pioneers in offering ready-to-cook hens and turkeys at the iconic Paloquemao Market Square.

In 2018, we took a major step forward by establishing a modern processing plant to comply with Law 1500 and the highest sanitary standards. This has allowed us to meet the poultry needs of our customers while exceeding their expectations in terms of quality and service.

Starting in 2020, we expanded our portfolio to more than 130 products, including red meats, poultry, fish, and seafood, allowing us to serve the needs of our customers in homes, restaurants, hotels, and catering services.
