Refrigeration:
Fish can usually be stored at temperatures between 0°C and 2°C for up to three days . However, it's best to consume it no later than the second day.
Before refrigerating it, we need to clean it properly. Also, if we want to extend its shelf life, we can add crushed ice to the fish before putting it in the fridge.
Freezing:
Once gutted and scaled, the fish can be placed in the freezer at a temperature between -1°C and -10°C . It is also preferable not to freeze fish if you cannot guarantee its freshness when preparing it for freezing.
- When defrosting it, we should take it out and leave it in the refrigerator so that it gradually recovers its natural state.
Do not mix with other food products to ensure quality and shelf life.
